Okay so you want them to gather at least 256 people together from all over the place and then have them sit through what is 50 hours of leveling (at least) together to rate the game. If you look at the average number of reviews for the games it's about 90 reviews so you'd need almost 3 people from every review site to sit through this 50 hour marathon.
Clearly you didn't think your idea through. It works for xbox games that have 24 players tops online but not for MAG.
I doubt there will be any 256 games on the 26th considering you need to make it to level 10 to be able to play them. I guess it depends how many people will be playing all day on tuesday.
I doubt they will make the same mistake twice. Which is probably one of the reasons why they had the open beta so close to the release.
The reason there hasn't been one review is because the servers aren't up yet. How is anybody supposed to review an online game only before its release. Think about it.
I don't think Sony needs a name but the do have Kratos and GT as someone above mentioned. They are know as the console that has all the good sh1t and good sh1t in all varieties. Nintendo is know as the console that has mario and zelda. Microsoft is the console that has halo and to a much lesser extent gears....
What games are like this again? I really like the squad based stuff and making characters that have skills in multiple classes is sweet. This game isn't like halo, resistance, killzone, gears, socom, team fortress, or counter strike. So what games are like this? Oh yeah BFBC2 which hasn't come out yet and isn't even of the same scope.
No, but this article is (zing). I'm just kidding. I really liked their commercial and I think that enough people that would be interested in a game like this already know about it. I also don't think that this title is going to move many consoles for sony. That said I will be picking this up on tuesday and can't stand the anticipation. I am sure there are many people out there who will support the title, I mean look at socom and what it had to overcome and yet it has a great community.
This is one of the big reasons why PC gaming is the sh1t. I mean if you buy these games on consoles $60 no arguing. But Bioshock 2 is $45 and you get the first one free. A $10 savings on every new game you buy adds up over time.
You can but the game makes random choices that you could have made if you played the first one. I would really recommend playing the first one though. You can beat it in under 20 hours if you don't do all the side missions. It's also really cheap to buy since it is so old.
You should play the first one first you can get it for $10. If you play the second one first prepare to get really pissed off at the first.
Many games now can't be defined by one genre. I understand what you are saying about the dialogues but how many of those games in the 90's had a dialogue wheel?
I doubt many critics took the time to actually play through the game. Most of them play the games on easy and Demon's Souls is at least a 50 hour game not including any multiplayer.
The first one may have been genre defining. This one has just fixed all the little things that people b1tched about the first one. So I guess ME2 is restating the definition.

In Indigo Prophecy you just hit the enter key to change characters. There were also times when you could choose I guess which player's chapter you wanted to play.
Because they don't have any games to play. Good thing MW2 has 10 levels of prestige, huh. At least there's ME2 to end the dry spell. 15 months since gears 2 and the only good games were MW2 and AC2. That should be some indicator of how well ME2 is going to do. Everyone will buy it so they have something to play.
Mass effect doesn't have multiplayer. Bioware had a great opportunity there if they let everyone go online with their own ships and explore and meet up with other spectres. A wasted opportunity if you ask me but then there is also ME3 to look forward to. This game will definitely beat ME2 in the replayability department. I think R3 will probably come out this year. Sly 4 will come out before they do infamous 2. Uncharted 3 wont come out until next year along with killzone 3. Starhawk and the ico game could come out this year.
Any bluetooth headset works on PS3. Most are around $20 now. Sony doesn't force you to buy their proprietary components. Sh1t, you can use any web cam with the ps3 (although it wont work for sticker making in LBP) and any 2.5" hard drive will work. You have options with the PS3.
